How does the initial consultation work?

Ayurveda has very precise and comprehensive methods to identify where a person has imbalances and how far someone is in a disease process, even before any obvious signs of disease have manifested.

The initial consultation includes a detailed Ayurvedic anamnesis and diagnosis including

  • complete history and assessment of specific needs

  • discussion of medical findings

  • tongue and pulse examination

  • and physical assessment

This information is used to determine the individual Dosha constellation (Prakriti) and the imbalances in the Doshas (Vikriti). The treatment goals are jointly discussed and agreed upon, on the basis of which a personalized treatment protocol is created that usually includes personalized dietary recommendations, lifestyle routines, the prescription of Ayurvedic herbs, purification procedures, and manual therapies if required.

Duration of initial consultation approx. 90 min. plus written assessment/treatment plan. Costs are based on actual time effort.

Ayurvedic Herbal Medicine Therapy

Ayurvedic herbal medicine is a science that has evolved over thousands of years and offers an exceptional breadth and depth of therapeutic possibilities. Ayurvedic medicinal plants are usually combined and used alongside other Ayurvedic treatment methods in order to support and maximize the integrated therapeutic benefit.

Both classical Ayurvedic herbs and formulations and European medicinal plants are used, selected according to Ayurvedic principles and tailored to the individual constitution as well as the current health situation.

Follow-Up consultations

After the initial consultation, an iterative process follows with follow-up consultations to review progress.

The initial treatment protocol is adapted and expanded as required to adjust to seasonal changes and guide you over time closer and closer to your personal state of health, well-being, and equilibrium.

Duration of follow-up consultation approx. 60 min.

Costs are based on actual time effort.

Ayurvedic Nutritional Counseling

In Ayurveda, nutrition is regarded as a central therapeutic tool for promoting health, balance, and vital energy. The focus is not only on what is eaten, but also on how, when, and how effectively food is digested and metabolized. Central to the approach is an individually tailored, constitution- and season-specific diet that strengthens the organism, supports digestive fire (Agni), and addresses complaints.

Nutritional counseling is based on a comprehensive Ayurvedic assessment that considers constitution, current conditions and imbalances, lifestyle factors, as well as personal needs and goals. On this basis, individualized and practical dietary recommendations are provided according to Ayurvedic principles.

The goal of Ayurvedic nutritional counseling is to strengthen self-awareness and to support a sustainable way of eating that promotes balance, energy, vitality, and long-term well-being.
